Chris Griswold
Chris Griswold is the founder and academic director of Thunderbolt Comedy.
A performer and teacher for more than 20 years, Chris has worked with hundreds of groups and thousands of students. He has taught in-person and remotely with solo clients and groups worldwide.
His students have gone on to write, direct, or star in such things as The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Three Busy Debras, Silicon Valley, New Girl, The President Show, Inside Amy Schumer, and Broadways’ Stuffed.
Chris trained extensively with the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center and the Annoyance Theater. He worked in the UCB Training Center administration as registrar and diversity liaison and was a house performer at Annoyance.
Chris writes and acts, appearing in a variety of comedy videos, commercials, PSAs, and podcasts. He also co-writes and coaches TEDx Talks.
He is currently writing a book on improv.
